Hey I’m Dayrell Hughes, if there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s that my family is my everything. But watching my wife juggle it all – the kids, the house, her career, and still somehow managing to keep everyone’s life running smooth? That hit different.
I noticed something when we’d travel. The way my wife would transform after just a few days of being taken care of instead of taking care of everyone else? Watching her shoulders drop that tension, seeing her laugh without interruption, enjoying a meal while it’s still hot? Man, that’s the kind of luxury every mama deserves.
That’s what drove us to create Melanated Moms Travel. Because I’ve seen firsthand what happens when a mother finally gives herself permission to put herself first.
